Shell Script - Need to create a log file.
Hello,
I wrote a shell script that backs up three servers on one backup tape. My problem is that I am trying to output everything I see on the screen to a text file which would be my log file.
I tried using:
ufsdump 0ucf /dev/rmt/0n / >> bak20050701.log
But it doesn't write anything and the output comes out on the screen (when testing).
What am I missing?
