Flash movie disappear on hitting back button or when returning back to prior html.

When I use MS Browser, I have a problem with my website and it is has to do with moving back ward.  But, when I test the same piece of software with Netscape all prior movies are visible

If you click on the below click, select 001_fatiha, you would see a new document and if you try to access the prior document that you started from, *.swf will not appear.  When I tried to go to prior document what was there does not appear even if I tried to press cntl f5.  I do not know why I am losing the prior flash movie on returning back to the prior document.

IE6 if full of cache management bugs you cannot rely on aything that may use previously cached components, because there is no guarante they will be there.

Hello
what do you suggest?
COBOLdinosaurCommented:
I suggest you get used to the bug.  Don't do a design that relies on the previous page being valid; alway go to the server and reload.  Anyone who is using IE all the time (poor souls) is used to the fact that it is defective.  not just with the way it mis-handles the cache; but a lot of other things.

AFAIK there is nothing you can do about it ...IE6 is a defective browser.

Your best hope is to give it no cache-instructions and it may go out to the server and reload when the page gets brought back from history.

Try adding these to the head of the page:
<meta http-equiv="Pragma" content="no-cache">
<meta http-equiv="Expires" content="-1">

Hello

I noticed that after I access one document I can not see it again either use Prior or Back. Not only that but also if I try to go back and forth I can not see the Flash movie.  This means I need to go only forward but not back ward. This is strange. I do not have this problem with Netscape.

Thank you.

You do not have the problem with NS because it does not have cache managemnet bugs. There is nothing you can do with IE except waidt for a new versin and hop they have fixed the bugs.

It's okay.  There is not real harm done.  As long as I know it was just a mistake; I am fine.  If you want to change it you can post a request in community support: http://www.experts-exchange.com/Community_Support/

It was just a surprise when I saw the grade, and I didn't think I did anything but try and help in a bad situation.  It was just a bruised ego.
