asked on
access to server
Hello there,
I would appreciate some guidances to ensure i don't go completely wrong.
I have installed windows small business server 2000. i have a fixed ip address, lets say is
http://XX.XX.XXX.XX1, i went to whatismyip.com to confirm this.
The server has a ip address which is 192.168.X.XX
I want to simple test the servers ability to serve up pages.
i have a firewall and have configured port to 80.
Please tell me the steps required so i do not inadvertently provide a hole in security to the server.
Thanks.
