I found the problem. Somehow my directories lost their IIS User permissions for read/write/delete access. I had been doing a defrag and it hung up, so I killed the process. After that it lost all of my IIS User permissions on my directories that needed them. Weird.<br />

I'm not trying to do anything with the frontpage extensions and I was at lunch when the messages occured.<br />
