Connect Two Wireless Routers Together

hey,

I am tryin to connect two wireless routers together so that i may use the first one to connect wireless PC's in the house together, the second to be downstairs and connect PC and Xbox's to it with wires.

Diagram:
http://users.igl.net/damo/network.gif

Hardware Specs:

2 PC's already connected wirelessly to Router One(DLink)
Multiple Xbox's (previosuly connected with wires to xbox live no problems)

Dlink DSL-G604T (Wireless ADSL Modem/Router)
http://dlink.com.au/default.aspx?FolderID=227
-802.11b/b+/g Compatible
-4 Ethernet Ports
-Currently Sharing ADSL with Connected PC's no problems
-Firmware Version :  V1.00B07.NZ
- IP Address 10.1.1.1
- Subnet Mask  255.0.0.0

LevelOne WBR-3406TX (Wireless Broadband Router)
http://level1.com/products3.php?sklop=11&id=540547
-802.11bb/g
-4 Ethernet Ports
-1 WAN port
-IP Address 192.168.123.254

So far from reading other posts all i can find is about using the Xbox Gaming adapter which i dont want to do as i already have 2 routers.
The Position of each router is fixed as the ADSL only comes in on one phone line into the study where the DLink router is positioned. Dragging a Cable between them is no good.
Testing will be done in the same room so not to worry about LoS or any of that for now.
I have read stuff about Static Routing? and DHCP servers being turned off?

Thanks for help!
PS. 125 Points, not sure how to get more, when i click buy points it shows me some premium thing and that i have signed up..

You must define a WiFi net.

             v     (WiFi LAN   W0)   v
Wi0_____|_____                ____|____Wi1
   /    D-Link     /__           /   WBR     /
  /__________/     |        /________/
     |   |   |   |       |           |  |  |   |
           Eth0          |              ETh1
                           |
                         ADSL
                        (WAN 0)

Eth0 10.1.1.1/24 No-DHCP      Clients: Static IP from 10.1.1.2 to 10.1.1.254
Eth1 10.1.2.1/24 No-DHCP    Clients : Statis IP from 10.1.2.2 to 10.1.2.254

WBR Routing Table

0.0.0.0          0.0.0.0                   Wi1       1

D-Link Routing Table

0.0.0.0        0.0.0.0                  WAN0   1
10.1.2.1        255.255.255.0      W0       1

WBR should link in WiFI with D-Link wireless defined network .
Note: /24 is a 255.255.255.0 network mask .
sorry im  a little lost here, could u explain this any simplier for me, thanks
I tried it, i think, says IP address is invalid
From who you have the error?
In steps:

Router D-Link :
1) Define WiFi network with all parameters ( no default!)
2) Disable DHCP and set the static IP of router to 10.1.1.1/24
3) Set ADSL parameters
4) Add static routing as described

Set TCP/IP parameters in static mode on all clients (PC) - 10.1.1.1 default gateway

At this point, all the clients must be able to connect in internet and see each other.
 Router WBR
1) Disable DHCL
2) Set WiFI parameters as for the D-Link ( but in client mode, i.e. the WBR is a "client" for D-Link in WiFi mode )
3) Set 10.1.2.1/24 as static IP address of router
4) Set TCP/IP parameters of a clients (XBox) in the 10.1.2.2-10.1.2.254 /24 range (10.1.2.1 default gateway)
To verify the configuration, if you can enter in telnet mode on WBR router, test a
            ping 10.1.1.1
It must work.

Hey, thanks for the help btw,

Just tried doin the first part, Router D-Link Step 4) for doing the static routing table as described above... and it appears to not let me enter in the value 0.0.0.0 into destination or netmask says invalid ip address, shown in this screen shot.:
I was able to Disable the DHCP Server on the D-Link following through the steps, im not sure if i did step one, what exactly does defining the WiFi Network involve.

Thanks again, sorry i know a lil about computers, but jack about networks, especially wireless.
Destination 0.0.0.0, wellknown as 'default' or 'any' is the routing target for any other connection request not defined otherwise. Normally, you need to add only the routing for the other network ( network 10.1.2.1 mask  255.255.255.0  gateway-interface W0  metric 1 ) to validate the connection, all others should be "default" to ADSL interface .
I'll get the point from the link...
CU
oh sorry forgot to type the rest of link my bad,
http://users.igl.net/damo/untitled.jpg

Thanks agian, btw im on New Zealand time, sorry about delay in givin u more info and stuff.
:-) No prob.
Some other ...
1) WBR must have firewall turned off.
2) Both routers must have the same SSID ( for the wireless connections). The oter WiFi parameters too.
3) Add only the extra routing ,as I sad before . Pay atention on the interface ( not 'Gateway' but 'Connection' to WiFI; PVC connections are for xDSL , ETH for ethernet a.s.o.)

One problem you might have is no access on one Router.  If your just trying to use one of them as Say a Wireless Access Point for only WiFi.  Take a CAT5 cable form a regular port  to a regular port on the wired router.  I had the same type of problem setting up my switch and not wanting to but just an access point.
Sorry took so long,

On the levelone router, when i change its ip address so it is in the dlink range, i then go to the routers new ip to get to the web interface, and it only shows the parent frames page, the 3 pages that make up each frame say page cannot be found, i did a full refresh and it still comes up like this, i have no idea now.

thanks
