Seems like I have found the problem.<br />

I tried to uninstall the Microsoft Update Rollup 1 for Windows 2000 SP4 (KB article ID 891861)<br />
<br />
And now I can start the applications again.<br />

Seems like I have found the problem.

I have 2 Windows 2000 servers running Citrix Metaframe XP 1.8.<br />
They both suddenly had the same issue this morning.<br />
<br />
When I remote connect to the servers I can not start either Outlook 2003 or Internet Explorer.<br />
However if I log on locally at the box I can start the applications just fine.<br />
<br />
When starting Outlook nothing happens. <br />
<br />
When starting IE I get this exception: 0xc0000005<br />
I have seached google and EE for this error, but cant seem to find a descriptions that applies to mu issue.<br />
<br />
Any ideas appreciated.<br />

Cant start Outlook or Internet Explorer on Windows 2000 terminal server (citrix)

Windows 2000 is an operating system for use on both client and server computers.
