Using a datagrid with empty rows

Hello,

I am developing an asp.net web application.

I have to display a table with 10 empty rows with a textbox and a dropdown in each row.
I want to allow the user to fill up to 10 records and press 'submit' to enter them all to the database.

Can i user a datagrid with 10 empty edit rows? How?

Thank you,
Dana

possibly the simplest way would be

string[] dummy = new string[10];

dg1.DataSource = dummy;
dg1.DataBind();

and you'd also have to put the edit controls in ItemTemplate rather than the EditItem template as you can only have one edit item at a time (using the built in EditItemIndex)
