watchguard and proxy server

I use watchguard box as a firewall, can I use it  also as a proxy server? for example to designate as a bridgehead server Or I should use another server DC?

Hi,

If its a Firebox model II, 1000 or X700 then it certainly can't be used as a proxy server.

Typically they are dedicated Firewall devices and not proxy servers.

We use squid under Red Hat as a proxy server which is free and relatively easy to setup.
