"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi jojoojack,

Did you ever join to domain? I mean to say Desktop, datas, Desktop, My Documents are stored in User Profile means your old profile you used to log on to domain. The local copy of the profile is saved in your computer. If you want to restore anything from your profile we can do so please let us know.

By using the below steps you can conver your workgroup profile into Domain profile: -
http://msmvps.com/clustering/archive/2004/10/06/15096.aspx

For example: -

You have two profiles in your local computer, one is which is created for local user and other one is already created when you logged on to the domain. So i assume you have two profiles: -

Jojo
Joj.domain.com

When you log on as local administrator you are using Jojo profile and when you are logging on to domain then you are using Jojo.domain.com. So the steps described in the above article shows you how you convert your profile or you can use above steps to use any of the profile present in your system. Were you using Romaing Profile?

Thanks
