Watchguard linux software

Is there any configuration software available for a Watchguard Firebox II that runs on platforms other than windows, e.g. Linux, MacOS.

I don't have, or wish to have, a livesecurity subscription.

Thanks,

Watchguard Firebox is a proprietary hardware appliance. You cannot buy the software only -- it does not run on windows, linux, nor MacOX..
The configuration is web-based and therefore OS agnostic. Any computer running Linux, Windows, or MAC should be able to open the configuration web interface...

I've already got a Watchguard Firebox II, it comes with a windows only policy editor and controller.

I cant find a web interface anywhere.

Any other ideas anyone?

Do you have the WatchGuard Policy Manager [System Management Software/SMS client] that runs on a PC?

The former name of the GUI used to configure a Firebox SMS -
(Security Management System]
Now known as the WatchGuard Policy Manager.

It looks like this unit came with some variation of the PC management SMS configuration software which should have been with the CDs that came with this unit -- if you do not have it, you may be in for 'the needle in the hay' search :)

If you like, four items you can check into here:

You may be able to track some software down thru this older EE solution:

2.) Yes, as mentioned above, the WatchGuard Firebox Control Center. All configs, logging and monitoring are thru' its custom interface (which is quite cool, imho).
3.) The Firebox II, (imho, is obsolete). For your configuration, the 700 should do fine.
