Have you changed SIM-card? A few 6230's wont accept any other SIM than the one that was installed at the very first power on. A software bug that was fixed very early by Nokia.

I know this is a long shot, but my 1 year old Nokia 6230 won't turn on with the sim card in place. Without the sim card it will light up as normal displaying the text 'Please Insert Sim Card', but I can get any further than that. Has anyone any idea's/suggestions. If it matters the phone was bought in the UK. Many Thanks.
