Unable to see USB memory stick in windows explorer.

I have a corsair memory card.  when I plug this in to my PC nothing happens (for example I don’t get the dialogue box suggesting which app I would like to view the contents with).  Neither does the drive show up in windows explorer.

I’ve gone into device manager and sure enough the USB memory is listed under ‘disk drives’

Any ideas as to what is going on here ?

Your memorycard might be mapped to a drive-letter which is allready in use. Go to Control Panel->Administrative Tools->Computer Management-Disk Management and try to change the drive-letter.

Thats fixed it.  It had the same drive drive letter as a network drive, reassigned it and its working fine now.
