Getting a specific column from a DataView

Is there anyway to loop through a dataview and get the contents by specifying a column name instead of and indexarray?

I have the following code that works

foreach (DataRowView rowView in view)
{
      for (int count= 1; count< 8; count++)
      {
      Console.WriteLine(rowView.Row.ItemArray[count].ToString());
      }
}

But what if I want to just print out the value of a particular column?  I don't want to use an index because in fact I'm populating this view from a dataset which may change in the future.
So currently
rowView.Row.ItemArray[1]  is a a datetime but if the dataset changes the index 1 might be a string or guid.

you can use

rowView["<column name>"]

where rowView is a DataRowView and <column name> is your column name
PeterFearnCommented:
e.g.

foreach (DataRowView rowView in view)
{
     Console.WriteLine(rowView["the_date"].ToString());
}

assuming the column name is the_date
