Journal Default Entry Type

When opening the page to create a Journal Entry in Outlook, the entry type is always set to Phone Call.  We would like this value to be set to Note when the window opens.  Is there a way to do this ?

I don't know of a way to specify a default.

However you can sort.  Right-Click on the Journal and select customize current view.  Click the group by button.
