Exporting messages from Outlook back into Hotmail

Have managed to accidentaly import all my Hotmail messages into my Outlook 2000 client by following the instructions of a previous thread about using the pop3hot.com and mx01.hotmail.com settings. Is there any way of getting these messages back into hotmail as I would like these messages to be accesable through webmail.

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Once u remove the messages from hotmail you wont be able to get them back over there(hotmail).

Is this because of their virus scanning procedures? What about contacting their suppoer offering to send a CD with a .pst  that they could scan before loading it back into my account (I've gots lots of messages).
Hotmail is a email provider with the bulk of its user being in the free account mode. The messages that are stored in
hotmail need not necessarily be the same method as in your outlook. The chances of them offering to load ur mails back
is negligible. You could try contatcing them but i doubt whether they would be able to help you out.

Not a very good solution, I know, but you could email all the emails back to your hotmail account.
not gonna happen.  when you retrieve your email from Hotmail with Outlook, you are downloading the entire piece of mail, and removing it from their server.  Unfortunately Hotmail doenst use IMAP (which would leave a copy on the server too).  Sorry.

SeanConnolly's idea is about your only option (but it will be time-consuming)
You can do this in Outlook Express 6. I can drag items from other OE folders into my Hotmail Inbox in OE, and the items end up on the Hotmail server. (Note that the web-based Hotmail Inbox then shows the date the item was dropped back into Hotmail, but the original date/time is displayed when the item is opened.)

I don't know if you can do the same drag in Outlook but you can definitely use Outlook Express for the one-time return of items back to Hotmail.
