Set SQL 2000 Sort Order to "Binary Order, case sensitive"
Hello,
I have a new SQL server and I need the sort order to be set to: "Binary Order, case sensitive". How do I go about doing this? Reinstallation is no problem as it's a fresh installation of SQL2000.
Thanks,
LMar

Updated: Need the collation sequence to be " Latin 1 binary". Is this the default or do I need to configure during setup?
Thanks,

Nevermind - found it. The setting is available when the DB is created.

Yes, but then the server default and the db will be different collations. That is a real pain. Personally I would uninstall and re-install using the desired collation [unless that collation will only be for one db] -- it will make things much easier in the future.
