fatal error C1084: Cannot read type library file: 'MDR.tlb': Error loading type library/DLL
Platform: WINNT;MS C++ 6 SP5; It will compile on colleague's 'identical' platform PC. Not mine. I've lost 2 days so far. If anyone can help I would be very greatful.

Are you sure the file in question can be properly accessed and is in the right place? Try FileMon (http://www.sysinternals.com/Utilities/Filemon.html) to check that.
