I need to backup our MS-SQL&Exchange 2003 on windows server 2003 on daily basis.

What would you reccommend to do this?

How about DLTtape for the backup?

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I would look into getting a program like Veritas's Backup Exec.  It works greate with enterprise level products like SQL or Exchange.  It also does a great job scheduling backups.

DLT tapes will work.  Just make sure that you get them large enough to back up everything you need and a bit more for growth.

You should probably buy third party software for the backups (like Arcserve or Veritas).  You will need to buy a SQL agent and an Exchange agent.  You can call them and tell them what you have and they will tell you what products you need to buy.
