Exchange 2003 - Experiencing long delay before user mailbox is created with new users.

I created an account for a new user today in active directory. They were able to log into the network how ever i cant setup their Outlook profile. Their name does not show up in our company address book. When i look at the properties of the account on my exchange server the exchange tabs are there but there is no SMTP or x400 accounts setup. Its been over 3 hours since i set them up. I have tried to replicate the servers to no avail. Please help. I have experienced this before and deleting the user and trying it again sometimes works. However i think it might be part of a bigger problem.

I will try running RUS. We have 2 windows 2000 domain controllers. I have been adding users from the desktop of our exchange 2003 server. We are running a single domain.

I cant send an email to the account to activate it because the name does not show up in my global address list.

I believe its a standard replication policy...I have even forced replication on my DC's to see if it would help but is has not.

And FYI it has been about 18 hours since i created her account and "created" a mailbox for her and she is still not showing up in the GAL.

Thanks for the quick responses.

Well I tried RUS and forcing the domain controllers to replicate to no avail. Bounced the server this morning and everything is fine. Thanks for the help!
