OracleParameterCollection and Use against Oracle

Experts

I hoping you can help me. I'm just about to start using Stored Procedures to do certain queries from an ORacle database (Returning a collection a values -Strings for example) and was wondering the best way to do this. Does the OracleParameterCollection accept and Oracle Collection as a return type. If it does, how is it best to use this. I searched around but can't seem to find much on this. Any help would be greatly received and I may know a little more once I get going.

Thanks for any help offered

I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You can use the Parameters object of the OracleCommand to add OracleParameter instances (this object is an OracleParameterCollection).
You also need to specify the direction of each parameter (input, output, both or return value).
After executing the command, you can extract output values from the Parameters.
