ultra160 with ultra320 on same SCSI card.
I have a NT server with a SCSI card installed, which is running perfectly at the moment.
The SCSI card has 3 slots, 1off 50pin slot and 2off 64pin slots. The 50pin slot goes to a tape drive, which works and one of the 64pin slots goes to 2 Ultra160 hard drives which work
I need to add a couple more hard drives and all my supplier has on he shelf is Ultra320 which he says I cannot mix on the same cable/card as the Ultra160 drives.
First question, is he correct saying I cannot mix 160 and 320 on one cable?
Second question, can I add 2 new Ultra320's to the same card using the second free 64pin slot, keeping the existing Ultra160's on the first 64pin slot.
