Question About Request.Browser.Cookies

Hi everyone,

I have

bool blnCookies = Request.Browser.Cookies;

but it always returns true even when I disable cookies in my IE6 browser.  What am I doing wrong?

Thank you so much,

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

I think that just checks to see if your browser actually works with cookies, not if they are enabled.

Once you enable/disable any of the Internet Security option, you will need to close the current browser window and open a new one for the new change to be effective.
