Adobe Photoshop, cut 'n paste, and how to manipulate the new pic
i want to cut the face on one pic, and paste that face on another pic....when I use the lasso tool, I rt click, and I can "Layer via copy" or "layer via cut".......I use either and drag this new cut face over to another pic, once on the other pic, I don't know how to resize it..........I may not have a good grasp of the whole "layer" thing either, can someone help to explain these to me?

thx guys!!! answers were great, Slynky, I tried to give you equal points........I did something wrong.......how do I give points to 2 separate people? by the way, I'm a cisco guy tryin' to learn this PhotoShop to play a joke on some clowns at work....so I will be posting more questions...thx agaiN!!!!

and in case you are curious, the prank is I'm taking some peoples faces at work, and putting them on the bodies of Star Wars fans in line late at night.....they keep doggin' me about the fact that I went to see a midnight premier at a place that there was NO line, and NO ONE dressed up......so if I can make these pics look good, then I can make them look like hypocrits and fun will be had by all :)

Packing questions in the same thread is usually frowned upon at EE so I'd suggest a new thread. That also gives your question more exposure as Experts don't usually go looking in closed threads (unles they're really really really bored, but there's the Lounge for that).
How to split points? When you're ready to accpet the answers, instead of clicking on the Accept button, scroll down and click on the Split Points link. That allows you to distribute points among several comments :o)

nah, but if you ever wander into the Lounge... the Lounge Lizards can spot a n00b miles away :o)
If I understand your problem, you are able to cut the face out with no problem. After positioning over the other face, it's too big or too small. Just click Edit -> Transform -> Scale (and remember to hold down the Shift key while dragging the corner handle). "Holler" back if this didn't help.
