JDBC: OracleLog.properties for java.util.logging

In the Oracle JDBC FAQ the answer to the question "How do I configure java.util.logging to get useful trace output from Oracle JDBC?" <http://otn.oracle.com/tech/java/sqlj_jdbc/htdocs/jdbc_faq.htm#36_03> mentions the file "OracleLog.properties" provided in the "demo.zip" file.

I cannot find the file "OracleLog.properties" anywhere? Any suggestions?

avernet,
   Does this help?

Please check the following,

Here are the steps with a sample properties file.
The JDBC demo dir also has a sample logging
properties file -- OracleLog.properties

1) Use JDK 1.4

2) Use debug jar ojdbc14_g.jar

3) Place a properties file, with contents:
============
handlers= java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler
.level= INFO

# default file output is in user's home directory.
java.util.logging.FileHandler.pattern = jdbc.log
java.util.logging.FileHandler.limit = 50000
java.util.logging.FileHandler.count = 1
java.util.logging.FileHandler.formatter = java.util.logging.XMLFormatter
.
# Setting this to SEVERE avoids duplicate output from default logger
java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler.level = SEVERE
java.util.logging.ConsoleHandler.formatter = java.util.logging.SimpleFormatter

oracle.jdbc.level = FINEST
oracle.jdbc.driver.level = FINEST
==============

4) Set the following when starting the test:
...-Doracle.jdbc.Trace=true -Djava.util.logging.config.file=<properties file location>

Good luck!
