SWF file in PHP pages does not run on Mac - ok in Windows

I don't know if this is a Flash problem or a PHP problem.  A freelancer built a page for us in PHP with an include for the header which includes Flash navigation.  The navigation displays perfectly on all Windows browsers, but on the Mac it only displays the background gif (in the SWF file) but not the navigation buttons.  However, when you click off the home page to any subpages in the site, it works.  Has anyone encountered this?

Here is the section of code that calls the include.  If I make the include an html file it displays ok on the Mac.

<div align="left">
<table border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="900"">
    <td width="835" colspan="2" height="137" bgcolor="white" valign="top">
          include $header_inc;
    ?>      </td>
      <td width="65"><img src="images/header_ext2.gif" width="333" height="137" alt=""></td>

Thanks as always.

What internet browser is displaying the page on mac?, is it up to date? Tell them to try firefox for mac, just to see if it's not a browser problem instead of a platform problem.

Sorry I forgot to post this.  It's Internet Explorer 6.1 and the Flash Player is updated to 7.  I believe they've tried Firefox as well so I think it's a platform problem.

The problem was found by a freelancer.  It was a PHP coding problem.  There was no page number variable passed to the home page.  For some reason it works on a PC with the missing variable.

Thanks for your help.
