SQL does not think dtproperties IsMSShipped

One of our SQL databases thinks that the dtproperties table was created by a user.  We are using the objectproperty(sysobjects.id, 'IsMSShipped') and it is returning 0 for this table.  All of our other databases come back with a 1 on that table.  Interesting enough you can not delete the table as it tells you that you can not drop a system.  We have some queries that are using that flag and it is returning some funny data from this one database but I don't know why it is screwed up to begin. I could just change the query to ignore the table but there is no fun in that.  Anybody know how to fix.

Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.
