ADSL connection with Broadband router

Hey

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to use a Broadband router with an ADSL USB connection.  I currently have two computers, would it be possible to connect the ADSL to one of them then make it a gateway and connect a LAN wire from it's ethernet port to the LAN wireless router? Or any other solution to get a wireless connection with such configuration would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance

are you asking whether such a thing is available?  yes, there are such devices available, although they are not exactly a router - more something similar to a trqaditional pstn modem.

sure, you could do that too if you want to.

but by far the most simple and cost effective method would be to use an off-the-shelf adsl router with multiple ethernet ports.  then just connect both computers to one of the ports by oirdinary 'LAN wire' as you describe it.

you can use wireless just as easily, but it might be an extra bit of complexity for you that makes it harder to get it to work - depends how comfident you are with networking devices...

Cheers!

I don't really have the money to buy another routher thats why I am trying to go through all that trouble.  But do you know if the connection from the gateway to the router will work for sure?
