Grammar checker unexpected error
I am using MS Office 97 Professional on a workstation running Windows XP Professional.
When I get done creating a document I always run spell and grammar check with no problems.
Today I keep getting a message saying that there is an unexpected error in the Grammar Checker, and the document quits responding I shut down the document and still have to go to processes with task manager and shut down winword before it will release the document so it can be opened again.
I have even tried to re install office it happens on any of the workstations I open the document with. All of the documents are stored on the server. The problem continues even if I copy the document to the original workstation.

After looking at the links in your answer, I checked for updates for 2000-2003.
I used 1 workstation and installed the 2000-20003 updates on 97-98.
I ran checks to see if 97-98 still worked with the collateral software that we kept it for.
It is still compatible and the problem was solved.
Thank you !
