Windows 2000 Professional Wallpaper problem
Greetings all. I was infected with a nasty program called Spy Sherrif that took me a while to remove. It changed my background to a dark blue. Now that I have finally removed it, I am not able to change my wallpaper at all. It seems to be set to a new entry called simply "Desktop". While my system is booting, my old background appears. It also shows up when shutting down. When I try to change my background, I am unable to select anything in the selection box. Also, the controls for the backlground (Tile, stretch, etc) are all greyed out. I am at my wits end, having tried anything that I could... please help. Lots of points for what I hope is an easy problem. Thanks.
