Backup Exec job status stays as "Queued"

Here is the revelent info - Any ideas would be appreciated - we have run the same backups for over a year, with no problems. The backup was nearing our maxixum time of 14 hours when this started. I increased it to 15 hours, but it didn't help. It doesn't appear to start the job - the status just says Queued. We are running Backup Exec 10 on a Windows 2003 server, to a tape library.

Its happened several days in a row.
A dirty tape drive sounds like the culprit. Especially since a different backup job to disks has been working...Thanks for your advice - I'll let you know...
