VB6 app needs to query Outlook Inbox
Hi All -
Is there a way using the MAPI controls to query Outlook's Inbox for a specified email then display the email's date, subject, and message for all the results?
Thanks,
Rachael

The solution at http:Q_21485596.html simply displays unread emails from your Inbox. To be more specific, the app will need to look for a specified email in your Inbox - then display (hopefully, in a grid) the email's date, subject and message body for all emails with the specified email. This should answer the question: "Show me all the emails from jones@centerofuniverse.com in my Inbox"
Thanks

Just keep in mind when you have un-read e-mails and it loops through the e-mails they will then become un-read e-mails.

Correction:
Just keep in mind when you have un-read e-mails and it loops through the e-mails they will then become (READ) e-mails.

Hi egl1044 -
Thanks for your help on this. Is there a way to bypass the Outlook popup message,
"A program is trying to access e-mail addresses you have stored in Outlook. do you want to allow this?"
