I had an email address resume@blah.com that was added as an alias to our Director's Exchange account.  It's for resume submission.  Problem was the boss wants those emails to route to a separate folder in Outlook.   Can't do this with message rules because when the message hits our server, it's redirected to his address, and I cannot, therefor, redirect it to a folder other than his Inbox using an Outlook Message rule of "when it's addressed to resume, move to this folder".  Consistent words are not used in the subject lines or bodies of submissions.

So I removed the alias from the account and created an Exchange Distribution Group named resume, then added boss to the group.  Does not work.  Any other new dist group I create to test works fine.  But using the old name does not.

Why?  Am I not able to use a name for a Dist. Group that was previously and email alias?  If not, is there any workaround.  The lit is already out there with resume@blah.com on it.  This will not produce a happy boss.
