SQL Reporting Services: The underlying Connection is closed, the remote name could not be resolved
I am getting this error when I try to access the reports through "Report Manager".
The error is " The underlying connection is closed, the remote name could not be resolved"
I have installed Reporting Services in Windows Server 2003 Standard Edition. Also i have the following.
I have installed the softwares in the following order.
1. SQL Server 2000 Standard Edition,
2. SQL Server 2000 SP3a.
3. Visual Studio .net 2003 Enterprize
4. SQL Reporting Services.
I have installed all these in a single machine.
When i could desing a report and could deploy it to the reports server. I am able to access the directory structure and the reports when i use http://localhost/ReportServer where i am not seeing any management tools or options.
My problem here is... When i try to open the "ReportManager" from IIS or type
http://localhost/reports in the browser, i get the above mentioned error. (My IIS is running, Reportserver is running)
Is there any other settings required? Or How can i get rid of this error
Thanks
