ok... I have officially confused myself (not too hard to do)

I haven't had the need to do this before so I never tried.  I have a SBS 2k3 domain setup at home ( kabaam.local )
I have a work laptop with xp pro that I log onto with the company domain.  I would like for the xp pro machine to have access to shares on my home domain.

If I click start/run   \\ipaddress of sbs\c$  I get a username/password request.
for username I have tried:
administrator@kabaam.local
<ip address of server>\administrator
<sbs 2k3 computer name>\administrator
kabaam.local\administrator
kabaam\administrator

there is only one domain admin account on the 2k3 and I can log in without a problem at that machine

I also tried net use q: ...... and I get access denied.
I can browse 'entire network' on both computers and see both domains but can not browse the other domain.
I have a share ( C: ) setup on the 2k3 server with 'everyone' permissions for read

what permissions do I need to play with to get this share to be accessable?

thanks a bunch
