asked on

doc for unattended windows install over the network....

I would like to be able to do unattended installs that would have the service packs and hotfixes and some software apps that go on all machines. I've been looking on the internet for docs about doing this but I can't find a whole lot that are really good.

Some places have said that sysprep and the like aren't great for doing this sort of thing either.

I was looking at:  http://unattended.sourceforge.net/

but their guide seems to have a lot of Linux and Perl based things and I am working in a strictly Windows environment. I'll be installing Windows Server 2003 (std and ent) and Windows XP.
We use MSDN stuff so using RIS is NOT an option. I already setup RIS only to find out that you can't use it with Windows MSDN software.

Does anyone know of a really good install procedural doc that would tell me how to do this??
