my setup

public class AA {

  public Thing doAA() { /* ... */}

  public Stuff doXX() { /* ... */ }

public class BB extends AA {

  public Stuff doXX() { /**/ }

i'd like instances of BB to not be able do use doAA(). is that possible?
in other words, does java provide a private inheritance mechanism in
the same way C++ does?
