Windows 2003 SBS - \\server\client\setup.exe /s servername
SBS comes with a login script with the following line
\\server\clients\setup.exe /s servername
I thought for grins I would leave it in. But when it runs I get
Can not copy file form server to this computer check the connection and cables.
Ok...I'm attached to the network...that much I know.
Anyone know why I am receiving this error message?
also what client is this installing?
Thanks for the assistance.

Actually there is a shared folder and it was automatically created during the server install.
It contains setup files however, no documentation.

You need to place the scripts in the Netlogon shared folder. This usually is:
SystemRoot\SYSVOL\Sysvol\D omainName\ Scripts - where DomainName is the domain's fully qualified domain name.

The \\server is a template for you to actually replace with your servers name. EX: \\SRV-AD\SharedFolderName\
clients is a shared folder or suppose to be on the network
I could be wrong, but I bet there is not even a shared folder called "clients" on your machine?
