I am in the process of updating our domain to Windows 2003 but before I run adprep, I want to be sure that all the domain controllers have all updates. For some reason, I can't run Windows Update and am getting error number 0x800A0046. I looked in Microsoft's knowledge base and found the article about how to fix it, but that was for non-domain controllers. Most of the solutions dealt with using the Local Users and Groups MMC.
Here is the error:

Please change your Internet Explorer security settings
To save changes to your settings for this website, you need to enable userdata persistence for Internet Explorer. Complete the steps below, and then click Change settings to the left and try saving your changes again.
In Internet Explorer, on the Tools menu, click Internet Options.
Click the Security tab, click the Internet security zone icon, and then click Custom Level.
In the Settings dialog box, scroll to the Miscellaneous section.
Under Userdata persistence , select Enable.
Click OK and when the security warning dialog box appears, click Yes.
I made sure the userdata persistence was enabled.
Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it?
Thanks in advance.
