Hello, I was wondering if the following setup would work and whether it is the best way of doing it? (follow image link below)

Can this be done?

Can you plug a wireless access point straight into a router?

I'd like to set up a wireless network over 2 semi-detached houses and I have read that a wireless access point would only cover one. I would like to set it up without having to buy a wireless router since I already have a wired one. Although I am willing to buy one if neccessary.

I am thinking of using 802.11g because faster especially since bandwidth is lost due to interference and security.

The router is plugged into telephone line for sharing the internet and I may have one or two PC's plugged into it and possibly a printer server.

Please let me know if you need more detail.

Thanks, Jonathan
