Hi,

I am new to vb.net, but read somewhat about inheritance in vb.net. I am currently working on informix 7.2 and powerbuilder 5.0 with full-fleged ERP system. I would like to know how to create base form with tab pages so that I can inherit it to create multiple unbound master and child derived forms
from it  for data entry purpose as in my current system. I am well conversent with OOPS concepts as they are present in powerbuilder 5.0
Also,  I don't know how to add, delete and update data using unbound forms.

I don't know anything and I am not getting exact idea about it.
Also, tell me what I have to learn in order to do application development in vb.net.
I am not getting sample applications or any good guide as such.
Pl. help me in doing above task.

Thanks,

Sanyogita
