I have a Qosmio F10 that came with XP MCE with Sp2. I have used the original product recovery CD rom to reset the OS back to the factory setting.  So theoretically its as it was when it came out of the box.

When I right click on My Computer, Properties, Computer Name, the Network ID box is greyed out.  I have uninstalled the client for MS Networks are re-installed it.  The network card is fine and I can ping things without an problems.

How the hell do I enable the Network ID box.  Its driving me bloody mad !
