Toshiba Hard Drive Diagnostic Utility

I am trying to run a fitness test/analysis on a Toshiba MK6021GAS. I know there are problems with the drive. I thought Hitachi was the hard drive manufacturer, so I downloaded their fitness test program. The drive has errors, but Hitachi's program won't touch it because it is a Toshiba drive. I have IBM/Hitachi, Maxtor, WD, and Seagate programs, but nothing for a Toshiba drive. Does anyone have a program or link to a program from Toshiba? Their site is awful and I've come up with nothing. Thanks a lot for any help.

Try the maxtor utility, this usually works with other manufacturers too.

I have a customer who uses an HP laptop with a Toshiba MK3263GSX hard disk. I suspected the disk was failing, but found no Toshiba tools to test it with. I ended up using the Seagate Seatools program which will test any brand hard disk, and worked great.
