I would like to add a standalone drive to a machine with an existing raid 5 array.  I popped in the drive in an open slot and when I run the configuration tool I don't see the drive.  What I do see are 2 buses, bus0 has the existing array and bus1 has nothing.

The card is an adaptec 2010s ultra 320 and is supposed to support 15 drives per bus.

When I try to create an array I'm told that there are no drives to create an array with.  The server is has 10 bays, 5 are used for the raid 5 and 5 are free.  The drive I added would make it the 6th drive overall.

I don't have the manual and the manuals I downloaded don't have instructions on adding an standalone drive.

Thanks.
