Unable to Terminate Process
hello guys ,
if u have ever tried out NORTON 2005 . there is some problems .. like there are a few services running
1> symantec core lc (symlcsvc.exe)
2> symantec SPBBCSvc (SPBBCSvc.exe)
3> ccEvtMgr (ccEvtMgr.exe)
4> ccSetMgr (ccSetMgr.exe)
and few other like navapsvc (norton auto protect)
and a few applications (of norton ) like
lucom~1.exe
aupdate.exe .
these both above are for auto updateing norton .
but the problem is they can not be terminated from neither taskmanager nor process explorer .
now other services and applications can be terminated but these application of norton's can't be terminated . How is norton doing that .
Is there any method in coding/ programming by which this sort of thing can be done ??
in vb or vc++ .. is there any example for the code ??
So The QUESTIONS are :-
1> How to Do what norton is doing in vc++ or vb ? ( give an example of the code )
2> please explain what is happening ?
