set up = Exchange 2000 ent on w2k ent, w2k3 with exch2k3 all sp up
Have moved numerous mailboxes from exch2k to new server ok. A lot have failed due to 'corrupt' items as I selected default of no more than 3 on move. the mailboxes that failed I have looked at the log and investigated the 'corrupt' item and it's a message that was sent out to all our mailboxes with a word attachment. If try and open the word attachment it says Internal Application error and it cannot save the attachment either. If delete it mailbox moves ok! So this seems like problem with single instance storage?? the mailox that sent the original message is now on the new server does this matter? Should'nt exchange have created a new instance of the message and updated the pointer for the storage group?
