Install Solaris 8 on Intel
Hello Experts,
I want to install Solaris on my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. My laptop already has 3 drives - C:\, D:\ and E:\. Windows XP Pro is inslalled on C:\.
I want to install Solaris on the partition on which D:\ sits. I have deleted all data from that drive.
I also have downloaded free solaris 8 from Sun website.
I understand that I will have to make some changes in BIOS, and have to modify MBR, to give an option in the begining to boot from Solaris or Windows.
Can anybody help me with that.
Thanks,
LGirdhar
