Hey Guys,

I'm having a problem with one of my servers that I'm running SQL Server 2000 on.  I have a maintence plan scheduled on this server that backs up the database everynight and it was working fine up until just recently.  However SQL Server is no longer deleting old back ups from the server and they just keep piling up and eventually I have to delete them manually when I get an error message stating that the drive space on the server is running low.

I've gone in and tried to change the maintenance plan through enterprise manager but I am no longer given the option of selecting the frame in the "Remove Files Older then:" Drop down box.  The drop down box is just blank, and I believe that this is the start of my problems, when I try to create a new maintenance plan using the Maintenance wizard, I have the same problem I can not selecet the time frame for keeping the old files since the drop down box is blank.  Does anyone know how I can fix this problem, with out having to re-install SQL Server?  Is there a way to fix this problem?
