I have a bunch of components in my application that I want to use Java's default MetalUI for, except for one.  I have a JTable that just doesn't match the rest of the application when it is rendered with Java's default UI.

Is there any way to have only the JTable rendered with the Windows L&F (I'm running a Windows machine...) ?

I wish it were as simple as:

       myTable.setUI(com.sun.java.swing.plaf.windows.WindowsTableUI)

...but WindowsTableUI doesn't exist in J2SE 5.0.

The whole reason for this is that I wrote two custom SliderUI's that only render correctly when using BasicSliderUI, a part of Java's basic L&F.

So I guess there are two options here: I could just set the Windows L&F for the whole app using UIManager.setLookAndFeel(), or somebody could help me rewrite my SliderUI's so they render correctly with the Metal L&F AND the Windows L&F.

Any help would be great!  Oh, and thanks in advance.
