Registry entry for default number of copies on a printer?

Is there a registry entry for the number of copies a printer defaults to?  For some reason one of my printers always seems to default to 32000 copies (randomly) and it has been happening to a few other people as well.

I can change the number and it will stay, but every now and then it comes up as 32000 again.  I am not sure why or how this is happening, if anybody can even explain HOW this happens I would be satisfied.

It doesnt always do this? Do you have and use Antivirus and spyware stuff?  Run spybot, and hijackthis and some AV.  Sounds like something funny... something has to be causing the strange 32k copies... especially if happening on multiple PC's.
Is this printer on a domain?
If so then change the number of copies on the installed printer on the server as these settings should copy down to all connected PC's.

It is in a domain, but this is where it gets wierd.  When I noticed that the number of copies was set that high, I changed it and the setting stayed for that printer.  When I tried to print to another printer, I got the 32000 copies again.  I was able to change that and the setting stayed for about a month and then went back.

The part that I don't understand is this. All my printers are on the same print server, but it only seems to happen randomly to a few people on random printers.
Also I think virus/spyware can be ruled out because we saw the problem on a machine that had been reformatted the same day.
