Basically when you use the Admin, it does 'everything' that it takes to make it work. While, if you directly peak into the database, you might overlook something obvious. How exactly are you adding users? Do you have a custom front-end?

Hi, our merak mail server is using an SQL database, all works well.<br />
<br />
If we add a user directly to the database, all the details don't appear in Merak Admin.<br />
<br />
Most of it is there, but its missing some vital things like their password and their file store path.<br />
<br />
Any ideas?<br />
